My life so far....

The things I have done in my life, thus far, are in bold.

1. Started your own blog. Check!
2. Slept under the stars. Can’t tell you how many times I have been camping!
3. Played in a band. I was in Drill Team but I LOVED the band.
4. Visited Hawaii. I want to. Does that count?
5. Watched a meteor shower.
6. Given more than you can afford to charity.
7. Been to Disneyland/world. I really want to go.
8. Climbed a mountain. I have climbed several actually.
9. Held a praying mantis.
10. Sang a solo. I can’t carry a tune in a bucket.
11. Bungee jumped
12. Visited Paris. Went there for our honeymoon.
13. Watched a lightning storm at sea.
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch.
15. Adopted a child.
16. Had food poisoning. Hasn’t everyone had food poisoning? If you have eaten at Taco Bell and hadn’t gotten it you are lucky!
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty.
18. Grown your own vegetables.
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France. Yep! Saw it at the Louvre. It’s the size of a postage stamp. HAHA!
20. Slept on an overnight train.
21. Had a pillow fight.
22. Hitch hiked. Yep, I did this while hiking in the Appalachian Trail. Kinda scary looking back. 23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill. I have had a case of the Friday flu before. ;)
24. Built a snow fort.
25. Held a lamb.
26. Gone skinny dipping. In February….STUPID!
27. Run a Marathon.
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice.
29. Seen a total eclipse.
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset.
31. Hit a home run. I hit 4 in one game once.
32. Been on a cruise. Haven’t done it but want to.
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person.
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors. Haven’t actually worked up my genealogy, so no.
35. Seen an Amish community.
36. Taught yourself a new language.
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied. I don’t play the lotto!
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person.
39. Gone rock climbing.
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David.
41. Sung karaoke. Unfortunately yes.
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant
44. Visited Africa
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight.
46. Been transported in an ambulance.
47. Had your portrait painted.
48. Gone deep sea fishing.
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I saw it on my honeymoon but I didn’t go to the top…I have this thing about heights.
51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling.
52. Kissed in the rain.
53. Played in the mud. Ha. Candice can attest to this. I think we were 10?!
54. Gone to a drive-in theater.
55. Been in a movie. Does a video on YouTube count?
56. Visited the Great Wall of China.
57. Started a business. Not a successful one. LOL
58. Taken a martial arts class.
59. Visited Russia
60. Served at a soup kitchen
61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies.
62. Gone whale watching
63. Got flowers for no reason. My husby gets me flowers twice a month. 
64. Donated blood, platelets or plasma. I have done this for work before.
65. Gone sky diving. Negative ghost rider….who wants to jump out of a perfectly good plane?
66. Visited a Nazi Concentration Camp.
67. Bounced a check. Anyone who says they haven’t is lying! LOL Or maybe I am just forgetful!
68. Flown in a helicopter.
69. Saved a favorite childhood toy. Still have a few.
70. Visited the Lincoln Memorial. Saw it in the 8th grade.
71. Eaten Caviar.
72. Pieced a quilt
73. Stood in Times Square. I want to go to NY SO bad.
74. Toured the Everglades
75. Been fired from a job. Yep. But I was 16. Does that really count?
76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London
77. Broken a bone. Broken a couple. Ankle and collar bone. NOT fun, or cool. I’m just sayin’.
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle. My ex used to love to ride his motorcycle with me on the back and several times we got over 100 mph. NOT safe.
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person.
80. Published a book.
81. Visited the Vatican.
82. Bought a brand new car. I have bought 2 brand new cars. One had 6 miles on it and the other had 50.
83. Walked in Jerusalem.
84. Had your picture in the newspaper. Had my own column in my high school newspaper. I was opinionated even in high school. LOL
85. Read the entire Bible.
86. Visited the White House. Been there during our 8th grade trip. They only let you see parts of it.
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating. GROSS!
88. Had chickenpox. Yes
89. Saved someone’s life.
90. Sat on a jury.
91. Met someone famous. Chris Farley & Nicolette Sheridan.
92. Joined a book club
93. Lost a loved one. A couple.
94. Had a baby. Working on that!
95. Seen the Alamo in person. Yep.
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake.
97. Been involved in a law suit. Nope….thankfully. That has to be scary!
98. Owned a cell phone. Who doesn’t own one these days. 8 year olds carry them!
99. Been stung by a bee. It’s been awhile.

7 Not so Random Facts about moi...

My friend Amanda tagged me to list 7 random facts about me. So now the daunting task of coming up with 7 random facts about me. Hrm…I would have done pictures, too but my work computer is being silly.

Okay, here we go!

1. My father gave up his rights to me when I was three. My grandfather has been there to raise me and stepped up to the challenge. Granddad has a special place in my heart. :)

2. I'm obsessed with the Eiffel Tower. Andrew and I went to Paris for our honeymoon and although I wasn't a fan of the people, the food or the walking…I became obsessed with the Eiffel Tower. I have SO many pictures of it and even mini Eiffel Towers in my house and work.

3. I am ADD. This may not be a random fact about me, but not sure if everyone knows it. Some may have guessed, but not sure if they knew for sure. Ha!

4. I'm obsessed with bags. Handbags, purses, laptop bags. I probably have 50+ bags of some type.

5. I LOVE Chai tea lattes. They are amazing!

6. I drive a Camaro but my heart will always belong to the Mustang!

7. I love to go hiking. Unplugging and getting lost in the woods is a lot of fun.

Marriage Survey - taken from Amanda

How long have you been married? 8 months

Is this your first marriage? First and last.

Is it how you imagined it would be? No, better!

What would you change? Hrm....it's a toughie.... sometimes we suck in the communication dept. and he's a little over analytical, but I am convinced it will save us money so it's not THAT bad. LOL

Are you married to your soulmate? Yes. He really is the perfect guy for me even though sometimes I complain about him. Haha.

What do you argue about the most? Small stupid things. But ya know, I would rather it be that than big important things.

What do you see eye to eye on the most? Raising children.

Where did you meet your spouse? Through the motorsports scene almost 6 years ago.

Where was your first date? A movie date at his house, but our first official date was at Maggiano's.

Where were you when you became engaged? At Fountain Place. It was very romantic.

Did you live together before marriage? Nope. We decided it would be best if we lived apart even though financially it could have saved us a lot of monies.

What was your wedding song? Could not ask for more - Edwin McCain

Who was in your wedding party? We had 6 Bridesmaids, 6 Groomsmen, 2 Flower girls, 1 ring bearer and 1 usher

Do you get along with the in-laws? YES! My in-laws are amazing and couldn't be better.

Whats your view on children? We both want some and we will see how many God blesses us with.

Does your spouse feel the same way? Yes.

Are you a 2 peas in a pod or opposites attract couple? We are polar opposites. He is an over thinker that has to have a game plan and I am a social butterfly that flies by the seat of my pants.

Do you go out without your spouse? We make it a point to have a date night regularly. It's tougher now since we are closing on our house January 8th.

How long are you away from your spouse before you start to miss him/her? On Monday's after I spent the whole weekend with him, but the time I get to work I start missing him.

Have you ever compared your spouse to someone you have dated in the past? Yes, but all the others pale in comparison to him.

Do you trust your Spouse? Absolutely. He would never do anything intentionally to me to hurt me.

Does your Spouse trust you? 100%

How well does your spouse know your favorites? He knows me very well.

Do you get along with your spouses friends? Yep.

Does your spouse get along with your friends?Yep.

Did you go on a honeymoon? Yes, we went to Paris. I love that city. I didn't care for the walking and the food but can't wait for us to revisit. We decided our 10 year anniversary we will go back.

Do you watch the same TV shows? Yes! We love House, The Big Bang Theory, Smallville, Bones and Metalocolypse. Haha. Don't ask!

Can you agree on Pizza toppings? Not really. He likes pepperoni and I like canadian bacon and pineapple.

Who takes out the trash? We both do, but most of the time it's him.

Who does laundry?? We both do.

Who cooks dinner? I usually do the cooking, he can cook a mean burger or steak on the grill...so I let him do that.

Do you have any traditions? We have holiday traditions and some weekend traditions.

Do you know your spouses passwords/pins? He has my passwords to everything.

Does your spouse know your social security number? No, but he will just ask if he needs it.

Do you ever nag your spouse? Yes. When it comes to car parts in the living room, I nag.

Do you admit wrong doing? Yep.

Does your spouse? Yes he does. He makes an effort to say he's wrong and I do too. It's not always the easy thing to do, but it's the right thing to do.
