Argh! I am just seriously way too tired and beat down to keep up with this thing, but I started it for everyone else, not myself....so time to stop being selfish and lazy and update this dang thing!
Okay, well we are in full-swing in the hunt for the house of our dreams. Let me just preface with this, house-hunting/making offers on houses SUCKS! Hah. Well, okay....it doesn't suck...but it's SO stressful and such an emotional roller coaster. So we looked at lots of houses and one of them stuck out to us. When I was inside the first time...I got the ding! You guys know what the ding is, right?! It's that warm feeling in your tummy when your body and God says...this is IT! I don't always get the ding on things, sometimes...I learn to get the ding...or get it later, but I totally got the ding when I was in this house. It's gorgeous. Beautiful updates, awesome floor plan....AMAZING! To sum it up in one word. So Wednesday....Thanksgiving Eve we placed and offer. During the next 4 days we went back and forth with the buyers and now they aren't budging...and we are still too high. So yeah, I am totally frustrated and hate playing 'the game', but you have to do it. GAH! So we have decided to let them sit and stew in their own juices for a bit and hopefully they will come to their senses....doubtful! And the kicker is I don't even think at this juncture I can give up here and go do this all over again with another house. ARGH! However, I may have to.
Good news, we went looking at more houses and actually found a couple that total trump the first house. Now, I didn't get the ding on any of these houses, but I think my dinger isn't speaking to me right now because it's bitter and heart broken. Aww. But doing our research we actually found some really beautiful homes with less cons then the 1st house. So I pray that it all works out and becomes less stressful, although I don't anticipate the stress part getting any easier. House buying is a pain.
Everything else is great. I am excited and nervous about the holidays. Excited because I LOVE spending time with the family and we have a trip to Nashville planned. Nervous because I am hoping at that point we will be over the bumpier parts of the home-buying/offer/inspection/appraisal part of the process and able to sit back, relax and enjoy my holiday as Jesus intended....over-eating and celebrating with family. We shall see.
Funny story, Isis decided to become possessed or something and went totally exorcist kitty on us the other night. Actually this whole ordeal went on for days. I really thought she was trying to kill Drew and I. We took her to the vet, they had to gas her just to draw blood. :O But at least she wasn't making a liar out of me, right?! Blood results came back and they were normal. Vet said that I could take her to a animal behaviorist and there is meds she can take. My response was, "So basically, you want me to take her to a cat therapist and put her on kitty prozac?!" Um, no thanks! I am cutting back. But I guess it all works out in the end, she is back to normal - well I don't know that she has ever been normal...but normal for her. YAY!
Well that's all I have time for now, hopefully you all enjoyed the update. I will try to keep them coming more frequently, but I am lazy. Heck, at least I admit it!

Lolz at Isis!!!
If anyone needed kitty prozac it is HER!!! :D Perhaps a valium salt lick is more your style??....then again, all your friends (including me) would be over hanging on it....it would be desolved after just one day!
But seriously.....I heard they make kitty prozac that you can sprinkle in their food (not real prozac but you get the gist). Anyhow, good luck!
And good luck on the house hunt. I cant believe they aren't willing to negotiate. Do thye want to sell or not?!?! And in this kind of market too.....how long has it been on the market anyway?
Good luck and I hope you get it!!
(when you said you got the Ding I had visions of an oven timer with that button that pops out of the turkey. lol
love you guys!!
