Okay, so this blog is a month overdue and I am sure Amanda will pipe in with a comment like…. “Finally!” Haha…but seriously….we are homeowners. Let me just say that the whole process of finding a buying a home can be a little stressful, but it’s SO worth it in the end. I feel like I have my own little castle, my own slice of heaven.
We have been in the house for a little over a month and we have most everything unpacked. It’s been a slow process and I didn’t realize just how much stuff/crap we have. I was also really worried that our stuff wouldn’t look that good in this house, but man was I wrong. Everything turned out super nice and I just love this house.
The closing process was very easy. We had to wait around for a few minutes for some paperwork to get finalized, but this whole process went really smoothly for us. God truly blessed us the whole way through on this one. We are very lucky and very blessed. The night before closing I could barely sleep and was anxious to get the paperwork done and have our keys. I couldn’t wait to spend our first night in the house.
His mother and father came down to help us get moved in and situated. They were so helpful and SO nice. His dad is a machine! That guy wouldn’t stop moving/lifting stuff.
The official housewarming party is tentatively scheduled for sometime mid-March. His family is due to come back up and that way, they can partake in the festivities. I just can’t wait to throw my first soiree.
Okay, well enough of that for now…I have included some pics so you can see what it looks like.

I meant to take pics of the media room and some of the others, but we are waiting for our finishing touches on those before posting. Don't want to do anything half hearted. :)
Hope you enjoyed it.
