Well I have been running for a week. I really mean jogging. For the first week, I rotated running and walking while I was out. It's the best way to start back into jogging with little injury. I am proud to say the knees are doing awesome! My ankles seem to be a little sore, which makes sense since I am slamming all my weight on them and running on concrete. I don't have a track near me and too cheap to buy a gym membership just yet. :) But I am glad that I haven't given up, and I am taking it SUPER slow to keep the injuries at bay!
On the health front, I got my CT results back. Gall bladder is fine, but there is a small cyst on my right kidney. So now that makes cysts on my ovaries, thyroid, in my arm and now on my kidney. So I think I am going to get my name changed to Cystie. Haha. Good news about cysts is they come and go, or rupture and they (doc's) aren't worried about them. They just come up in some people and I am one of those people. So we will repeat the CT in 6 months to keep an eye on it, just to make sure it doesn't get in the way of things.
So that's all the updates for now. I know there wasn't anything really funny, witty or entertaining to read, but wanted to keep everyone updated on what's going on in my little slice of heaven.
Food for thought (from my church): God uses imperfect people to accomplish his perfect plan. Ponder on that! ;)

I love that quote!!!
Hey instead of running on the sidewalk I wonder if you might be able to try running along that strip between the sidewalk and the road?...or maybe just on peoples yards? lol The less you are pounding pavement the better for your knees I guess huh? I love you!!!
