Well, I know. It's been FAR too long since I have updated this thing. For someone who doesn't have a 9-5 I have NO time! Maybe it's all those Forensic Files I am watching. I am OBSESSED! Seriously. Thinking therapy is in order. Anywho, Drew and I went to Nashville for 8 days and had a great time. Did lot's of shopping! Woo-hoo! Mama got some new shoes! Yes. It's bad. I was at the mall a couple days back with a friend and she was looking at some new shoes and said to me .. "Krysie, are you going to get anything?" My response ... "Um, if I come home with any more shoes I think Andrew will file for divorce!" No joke.
Drew bought me some running shoes this last weekend. I have been running for over a month now and needed some good shoes to keep from getting injured. We bought me some fancy Asics and they feel so good on my feet. I was antsy to go run in them. I am around the 1 mile mark. I used to be able to run so much further, but the heat gets me and I REFUSE to run before 7:00 am. Yeah, right! But I hope to eventually work up to a 5k. So we'll see!
I have started my crafty blog. I need some sort of creative outlet to feel accomplished. So I am adding recipes, crafts and other things to it. You can visit it at Krafty Krysie Check it out!
Drew is still working his butt off and I love him for it. God blesses our socks off everyday. Kari amazes me still. She is AWESOME! I would clone her if I think I could handle cleaning up after two of them. I have to vacuum/clean/mop my floors several times a week. Gah! Whoopin'!
Oh and if you are wondering how to get rid of ants in your house ... bust out the vacuum attachment and suck them up! The Dyson just killed a small colony of ants. Victory! Dyson 42 - Ants - 0. Yes!
I will hopefully have more to update later - but for now that's all I have.
