Nursery Project has begun....

The room that will be Jonah's nursery was previously painted pink and obviously that just wouldn't work. So after picking out his bedding and deciding what colors we wanted to paint it, we started the task of actually applying paint to the walls. I am just going to preface this with painting a room is man's work! Hard stuff.

We purchased some paint from Home Depot that has NO VOC's (volatile organic compounds). Those are the things that produces the harmful fumes that aren't good for me or baby. So this way it's very safe for our family. It was a little bit more per gallon, but worth the cost since it's safe for us.

We decided that we were going to paint the whole room a light blue, put clouds on the ceiling and do a checkerboard on one wall. It's a little more work, but it will be very cute. Here's some pics of the progress as it comes along.
