This past Sunday, March, 27th 2011 we dedicated Jonah's life to the Lord. Our mission as parents is to raise a Godly man. Jonah was entrusted to us and we hope to be great stewards of that precious gift.
We had the blessing at my best friend Candice's church - Crosspoint Church of Christ in Grand Prairie. It was a really beautiful little ceremony. 6 other babies were blessed that day including Candice's daughter Avery Jane Hankins. :) We were partnered with a sponsor couple that will be praying over Jonah for the next year. What a blessing and privilege that is.
I am looking forward to helping Jonah understand the love that God has for us and teaching him what that love means and how to be a humble, God fearing man.

How nice for Jonah, shame some of us weren't invited to participate.....
It was really nice. I didn't invite anyone. Just kept it small for us as a family. Since it wasn't a church I regularly attend I didn't know if I could invite a bunch of people.
