Without getting to 'preachy' I just have to thank God that I have been SO blessed in my life. I have had many ups and many downs and the great thing about the ups is that they are SO up! It's like being high on life. I thank God everyday for my husband, my family, my house and even my cat. All the things that HE has given me and I wouldn't have any of it, if it weren't for Him.
This week is a truly special week for me and many other Christians. Good Friday is coming up and this symbolizes a huge day for us. This is the day that Christ gave his life for all our sins. Then on Easter Sunday he rose again in fulfillment of scripture. This time right now is VERY important to me because being human we are natural born sinners and God sent his ONLY son down to earth, to dawn our flesh and live a sinless life to die on the cross for OUR sins! I mean....let that sink in for just a few minutes. He died....FOR OUR SINS! So that WE may have eternal and everlasting life.
According to the bible; the wages for sin is death, and because Christ died on the cross for us, we may seek forgiveness in Him and be cleansed of that sin. Not without consequence....but we may still look to him in forgiveness and have enternal life. Talk about the greatest sacrifice.
I hope all of you are spending this amazing holiday with loved ones around you and you can share with them these accounts and inspire everyone around you to seek out Christ in these most uncertain times.
