39 weeks...

...and I am still hangin' on. Barely! I am so ready and anxious that every day feels like a week now. With every little cramp or contraction I get antsy and that makes for even LONGER days.

My appointment last Friday went well. The doctor hooked me up to the monitor because Jonah wasn't moving. She just wanted to make sure he wasn't in fetal distress. Come to find out he was in a deep sleep state, so that explains why he wasn't moving. I guess he's going through a growth spurt....not sure how I feel about that considering I have to push this big boy out! The doctor pointed out while I was on the monitor I was having contractions and asked if I could feel it...and I couldn't. So maybe that's a good thing, I don't know yet. She checked me and there was no change since the week before so that was a little depressing. In her professional opinion she seems to think he will come between the 10th and 12th. I am hoping he does. My next appointment is Wednesday, March 10th at 9:45, which is Jonah's actual due date. Hopefully it will be good news....like they admit me because I am dilating. Fingers are crossed!

While I was at her office I set up the appointment to be induced. I will go in the night of the 15th and then be induced at 6:30 am the next morning. I am hoping that Jonah figures it out and starts making some headway before then. I am truly at his mercy now, so we are just playing the waiting game, which is hard for me. I am not a very patient person. This is a tough lesson to learn.
