Jonah - 28 weeks

Jonah - 28 weeks / Bath time fun

Now that Jonah is sitting up on his own, he is now able to sit up in the bath tub instead of lay back. This has added a whole new level of fun to bath tim. He plays with toys, splashes and just loves bath time. He is so cute and such a fun/happy baby!

We also get to sit him up in the cart when we go shopping. Each little accomplishment and stage is so much fun. We have started foods and so far he's had peas, broccoli and avocado. He's not a huge fan of any of it actually. He loves cereal but doesn't seem to really like food. But we will keep trying. Recently he's started drinking a little from a sippy cup. I am so proud of my big, little guy!

Yesterday and last night were the first times he's slept in his crib without the support of his nap nanny. So he's flying around inside of there but sleeping great. We had him propped up due to his reflux (which is now gone!) and he's doing so much better. We have a video monitor and it's really an addiction, kinda like Jonahtube! We watch him play around in his crib and then eventually fall asleep. He moves around even in his sleep. I have the busiest baby on the planet, I swear. He has a really hard time turning it off. I guess that's why he's only 50th percentile for weight....he 'works' it all off.

I have been training for a 5k for the last 9 weeks. I started the Couch to 5k program 9 weeks ago and graduated last night. My first 5k is Saturday and I am getting nervous and excited. I can't wait. Hopefully I have a good finish/time. I doubt it though. I am only 6 months postpartum and I have been training in the summer in Texas. Not realistic training goals, so I am hoping the 5k I am doing in October will be better.

Andrew is still working on his car. Maybe one day it will be finished. But somehow, I doubt that. :)
