I know! I know! I am SO far behind. I hear ya Aunt Debi. ;)
Okay, here we go! Well...here we are, Jonah is now 7 months old. What?! How did this happen? I can't believe it. He's grown so much and does so many things now. It's amazing.
He is literally two seconds away from crawling. When he sits on the ground he will lunge over his legs, get up in crawling position, rock back and forth and bit, make a move forward on his hands and then falls down and rolls over. If you pick him back up and sit him up again, he will do this over and over for hours. He will also pull himself up. If you are close enough, he will grab onto me or Andrew and pull himself up to a standing position. He will also do this with tables and the couch. If we hold his hands while he's standing, he will walk. This kid is ready to get his wheels and once he does....my life is over! :*( I will have to lace up the old running shoes and it will be a game of chase.
If anything is in his grasp it will end up in his mouth. Cell phones, TV remotes, mail, shopping cart handles....EVERYTHING! It all ends up in his mouth. I hear that the mouth is a whole exploratory sense of discovery....but is it necessary that he chews on my keys and fingers, too?!
We recently went to Colorado for a 9 day vacation. I was so excited and anxious at the same time. I was ready for a change of scenery and cooler weather, but nervous that all the driving and change of pace/schedule would throw Jonah completely off. Luckily, it really didn't....not until the last two days. Jonah got to hike in the mountains, see Elk, swing on a swing at a park and experience and see things he has never done before. We all had such a great time!
He's actually going to be 8 months soon and I have really no idea where all the time went. I know everyone told me they grow up so fast, but it's so true. He does something new practically everyday now. He says 'ma-ma' now! It's the cutest thing! His voice is so sweet. This little guy cracks me up everyday! He's so funny and will laugh and smile all day. I think he's one of the happiest babies I have ever seen. I am SO in love with him.

I am so glad you updated this. I love the new pics of Mr Handsome. No I dont mean Drew either. Dont get me wrong my son in law is a handsome man but I am talking about the cutest little person God ever put on this earth MY GRANDSON. Jonah Grammy loves you more than you could ever know.

WOW, to acutally be named in the Blog, I feel so honored!!! haha. Jonah has become such a happy baby, and his smile makes me smile all the time. he is my Mr. March for my 2011 calendar I just ordered, so it will be fun to see him everyday in March next year. I used his Dallas Cowboy watching foto, since he was so excited in it. Now you need to get him a Texas Ranger outfit, so he can cheer them onto victory in the World Series. He will be so much fun, wish we were having him for Christmas, but I understand. At least I will get my hands on him at Thanksgiving.
