Where has the time gone? I can't believe Jonah is almost 2 months old. He just blooms everyday. More smiles, coos, grunts, giggles. It's amazing how fast they learn things. Today I picked up a rattle for him. He kinda grabs it. He definitely chews on different parts of it. (Of course!)
Watching him grow and change daily is just a blessing. Having a little one is VERY overwhelming but I am so thankful to be staying at home with him. In the beginning I wasn't so sure. It almost seemed to much. He now has a schedule and is getting easier to manage or I am just getting better at managing. Either way, I really enjoy him. His quiet alert moments are great. Although, they aren't really quiet. He's really trying to talk. It's not really words, but more gah's and ahh's. We do get the occasional two syllable ahh-gah, which is SO precious!
Next week we will be heading out for our first road trip. Going to visit Jonah's grandparents in Nashville. He is definitely going to get used to that drive. I am sure we will go again this summer/early fall and then we will be spending Christmas in Nashville this year. I am excited about that. I have always been home for Christmas, it will be nice to spend it out there for a change.
I am looking forward to next week and what developments it brings. :)
